Rural Fire Protection
The cities in Obion County provide rural fire service outside their city limits for an annual subscription fee. Subscriptions for residents of Union City’s Rural Fire Protection District are just $100 per parcel per year, less than $2 per week. Annual fees are due August 1st and are not pro-rated. We respond to all fires in our district, but charge a $5000 cost recovery fee for non-subscribers.
Renewals and new sign ups are payable at Union City City Hall. Help support the firefighters who are here for you twenty-four hours a day every day.
