Guidelines for Retail Fireworks Stands
An application for a Temporary Retail Fireworks Stand permit application must be submitted to the Planning & Codes Department and comply with the submittal requirements specified in this application and applicable code sections. Applications shall include a completed application and all documents required in the permit application checklist. Title 7, Chapter 4 of the City of Union City Municipal Code contains regulations specific to Fireworks and the permitting of retail stands.
A Temporary Retail Fireworks Stand permit application will not be accepted more than 90 days prior to June 20 or December 21, depending on the requested dates of operation. Reviews will be completed within 30 days of submittal.
